We are pleased to announce that Nicholas O. Detmer, MBA, CFA, CAIA, has joined Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. as Managing Director and Oxford Investment Fellow® in our Indianapolis office.
Oxford’s investment platform is built around seasoned professionals with focused, institutional-grade expertise. Nick’s appointment to the Regent Street team reflects that standard, bringing a depth of private markets experience that strengthens Oxford’s capacity to source and execute on behalf of the families and institutions we serve.
Nick brings a distinguished background spanning both public and private markets. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Aksia, where he worked as an alternatives-focused investment consultant to large institutional investors. Earlier, he spent nearly a decade at the Indiana Public Retirement System in a range of investment and leadership roles, including Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Director of Private Equity and Director of Fixed Income and Credit.
At Oxford, Nick joins a team of seasoned investment professionals focused on private markets, with responsibility for sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring primary fund commitments and co-investments across Oxford’s Regent Street Partners and Co-Investment funds. Nick holds a Master of Business Administration with Distinction in Finance and Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. He is both a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst charterholder.
