Eric D. Lipkind, MBA

Managing Director

“A client once told me, ‘You can tell who somebody is when the chips are down.’ He was reflecting on a volatile market stretch we navigated together. I aim to lean in during periods of peak uncertainty. These moments set the tone for the broader relationship.”

Eric Lipkind is a Managing Director at Oxford Financial Group, where he partners with families to reduce complexity by integrating investment management with estate coordination, tax strategy, insurance oversight and administrative infrastructure. Drawing on best practices from prominent families, he helps clients articulate the purpose of their wealth as well as build durable frameworks that promote family harmony and enable the next generation to thrive.

Before joining Oxford, Eric was a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs in New York City, where he led a team focused on ultra-high-net-worth families and select institutions. In that role he delivered tailored solutions for families with complex balance sheets. Earlier in his career he worked in sales and analytics at Bloomberg, covering leading sell-side institutions and helping develop go-to-market strategies for the firm’s salesforce.

Eric holds an MBA with a focus in Quantitative Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Tulane University. He received Tulane University’s Robert V. Tessaro Young Alumni Volunteer Award, served as president of the Tulane University Alumni Club of New York City, and is a member of the NYU Stern Alumni Council. He also co-founded a nonprofit that delivered equipment to New Orleans emergency responders during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Eric and his family live in New Jersey. He is an avid adventure traveler, from fly-fishing for trout to chasing powder days in Colorado — and counts an early job as a beer vendor at New Orleans Saints games among his memorable experiences.
