Jason Gust serves as a Managing Director and Family Office Fellow at Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. In this role, he draws on more than a decade of progressive financial leadership and advanced tax planning expertise to assist affluent families, multi-generational trusts and business owners with sophisticated wealth preservation and capital deployment strategies. Jason brings a comprehensive, holistic approach to client relationships, helping clients navigate family dynamics, liquidity expectations and asset protection needs.

Before joining Oxford, Jason was Director of Finance at VA Enterprises LLC, where he led tax strategy, treasury functions and wealth operations for an ultra-high-net-worth single-family office. Prior to that, he served as Controller at Buttonwood Capital Management LLC, overseeing accounting and compliance for complex multi-entity family structures while modernizing enterprise technology to improve consolidated reporting.

Jason earned his Bachelor of Science in Administration and Accounting (BSBA), magna cum laude, from Aquinas College and his Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Grand Valley State University. He holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate. His advanced tax studies focused on estate, gift, individual and complex entity-level compliance.

Jason resides in Ada, Michigan, with his wife Melissa, their two children and their Golden Retriever. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, collecting mechanical watches, cast-iron cooking and World War II history.
