About Josiah P. Sears, MA, CFP®
Josiah Sears is a Managing Director with Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. His primary responsibilities include working with multi-generational clients to develop a MasterPlan and work with the family and their advisors to enrich their legacy. Utilizing his background in leadership development, Josiah works directly with the principal members, along with his client’s entire family, to continuously address their financial and personal objectives. He is the point person coordinating all the resources of Oxford’s Family Office Services team to provide the best quality service possible to the clients he serves.
The financial aspect of Oxford’s family office work speaks to Josiah’s background with his degree in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. While at Indiana University, Josiah walked on, and played fullback and numerous specialty positions for five years on the Hoosiers Big Ten football team; he was co-captain of the team his senior year. Additionally, fanning his passion for leadership, he has earned a master’s degree in executive leadership from the Liberty University School of Business.
Josiah is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and currently maintains his Series 65 Investment Advisor registration. Prior to joining Oxford, Josiah served in various leadership consulting roles and is an author on the subject. Additionally, he served as the head football coach at Benedictine University in the Chicago area. He is passionate about personal relationships and intentional character development, which he brings to his approach to client services at Oxford.
An Indiana native, Josiah, his wife Lyndee, and their two children live in the Indianapolis suburb of Carmel. They are active members of ITownChurch and love to serve those in need in the Indianapolis community. He and his family are very active and love all kinds of sports.
