About Ty Schlobohm

Ty Schlobohm serves as Managing Director, Mayfair Capital Partners with Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. In this role, Ty is responsible for sourcing, deal origination and evaluation of direct private equity investments.

Prior to joining Mayfair Capital Partners, Ty was at Bank of America working in the investment management division of U.S. Trust. Ty served as Managing Director at Cherry Tree Companies, Cherry Tree Fund IV and Cherry Tree Acquisition Company, a $200mm Special-Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). He was the co-founder of Langschiff Partners, LLC, an international consulting firm that worked exclusively with alternative investment and private equity firms. Ty has worked on the proprietary trading desk of G2, now RBC Capital Markets, as well as at a New York City based hedge fund.

Ty has been featured in The New York Times with appearances on CNBC and CNN and has been selected on numerous occasions as a member of the Minneapolis Star Tribune’s “Year-End Roundtable.” He formerly served on the board of HighPoint Center for Printmaking and is an active committee member of the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts.

Ty earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University. He lives in Orono, Minnesota with his wife, Molly, and their two daughters.
