Tania DeVries is a Managing Director at Oxford Financial Group, Ltd., where she collaborates with investment and tax planning experts to deliver strategic, customized solutions that align with the financial objectives and life goals of Oxford’s clients.
Before transitioning into wealth management, Tania practiced law for seven years in the private sector in both Detroit and West Michigan. In 2004, she joined the Fifth Third Bank, marking the beginning of her career focused on assisting multi-generational families with complex trust matters. Prior to joining Oxford, Tania served as a Senior Fiduciary Advisor at Hawthorn Family Office Services, PNC Bank, specializing in fiduciary representation and wealth planning for ultra-high-net-worth families.
Tania holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
As a dedicated community leader, Tania believes in leveraging her expertise and network to drive positive change in various area not-for-profits. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of Guiding Light, an innovative and comprehensive recovery program for men and women. As a former practicing attorney, Tania has been touched by individuals and families unable to afford adequate legal representation. She is, therefore, passionate about supporting the Legal Assistance Center of West Michigan, where she served two terms as President, was a long-standing board member and now sits on its Development Committee.
Residing in Grand Rapids with her husband, Tania has a daughter who is currently pursuing graduate studies and a son in high school. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family and spending free time by the pool or the sandy shores of Lake Michigan.
