About Michele E. Hargis, MBA
Michele Hargis is a Managing Director at Oxford Financial Group, Ltd., where she draws on more than 25 years of experience to guide families through the complexities of wealth management. A value-driven financial professional, she is committed to helping families achieve long-term impact and build enduring legacies.
Before joining Oxford, Michele served as President and Co-Founder of the Oaks Family Office, which she established in 2014. In that role, she directed all facets of the family office, including investment management, estate planning, governance, philanthropy, tax strategy, property management, aviation services and banking. She also founded the TQL Foundation, created a Family Legacy Program to prepare the next generation for wealth stewardship and led the negotiation of the TQL Stadium naming rights. Earlier in her career, Michele was Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Fifth Third Bank, where she launched the Equity Risk Management Group and directed portfolio management for high-net-worth clients and private foundations.
Michele earned her MBA in Finance from Miami University in Ohio and her BBA in Finance from the University of Kentucky.
Dedicated to community service, Michele serves as a board member of the Northern Kentucky University Foundation Investment Committee, OptimALL Services and CancerFree Kids. She is also co-founder of the Cincinnati Family Office Network. In addition, she facilitates the Women in Finance Speaker Series at the University of Kentucky and supports organizations including St. Xavier High School, Children’s Hospital, RadicalHealth and Notre Dame Academy.
Michele and her husband, Mike, live in Northern Kentucky with their three children. Together, they enjoy sports, outdoor activities and family time each year
at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
