An Evolution Inspired By Midwest Values

Market Expansion and the Growing Number of States in Which We Work

Oxford was established in 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over our 36-year history, we have added four additional offices—Chicago, Cincinnati, Grand Rapids and Twin Cities—and we continue to grow. We are proud of our history and excited about what our future holds.

We believe our geographic expansion demonstrates our commitment to serving the Midwest market. While we are proud to be a premier Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), we have never lost sight of our roots. Across each of our locations, we embrace traditional, Midwestern values and a focus on continuous innovation. We get to know you, your personal financial goals and what is important to you. In return, we bring pragmatism, hard work, commitment and focus.

Since the early days of Oxford, we’ve focused on developing strong, enduring relationships with our clients. And, despite our expanding geographic footprint, we have prided ourselves on delivering a seamless, small firm experience. While we serve clients in 37 states—a meaningful percentage live and work in cities like Columbus, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky; and St. Louis, Missouri, to name a few. However, no matter where you are located, you can rest assured that you will always receive the same unwavering support for which we are known.

But our geographic presence is not just an asset for clients. In the past year, we have hired some of the best minds in the business from large, established firms across the Midwest. We have been incredibly successful attracting young professionals from the bank/brokerage industry who are drawn to Oxford by our reputation and strong values. Many of these individuals represent Oxford’s next generation of leadership at the firm.

To support Oxford’s organic growth, our Managing Directors travel regularly throughout the Midwest to meet with clients and cultivate advisory relationships we have forged with attorneys, investment bankers, accountants and insurance professionals. These alliances share a common goal—a like-minded focus on doing what’s right for clients.

As Oxford has evolved, a strong singular company culture has emerged. It’s an environment that fosters opportunities for collaboration and the cross-pollination of ideas—and where employees feel aligned with the firm’s mission. But, even more importantly, it supports low employee turnover, high productivity and engaged, committed employees. Ultimately, as an investment advisor, we are judged by our ability to deliver compelling investment results. But we also stand by our past as testament to the innovative, client-focused firm we have always been.
